Graduation!

There are no words to describe how happy I am about graduating! Grad school has been a tough three years for me. It has been really hard trying to balance work, school, and life so I am ready for it to get back to "normal."
Here are the best parents in the world! I don't think I would have made it through grad school without their support and encouragement!

No celebration is complete without a trip to the Melrose! Thankful for great friends in Nashville!

This is my friend Stephanie who also graduated from the counseling program with me! So happy to have made such a great friend in school.

We spent forever trying to get this hood thing to look normal. I don't have a clue how it goes but still so proud of it!! haha
Yay Graduation!! Yay no more school!! Yay for amazing friends and family!!

Transition

Transition - Passage from one form, state, style, or place to another.

So, I moved yet again. I wish I was joking, but this marks the sixth time I have moved since I moved to Nashville. We all know that moving is not fun. But, I am so thankful to have wonderful family here in Tennessee to take me in until I can figure out a plan for my life.

While I am living with my aunt and uncle, I put all my stuff in storage. It kinda made me sad to see all of my "things" in one little 10 x 10 storage unit.
It also made me a little sad to be in the process of moving and sleeping on an air mattress at my old apartment! haha
But now I am settled in my new, temporary living situation. Very thankful indeed.

BA Prom

I don't have any kids, but sometimes I feel like my young life girls are like my children! I have been with this group of girls for 4 years. My first year as a volunteer Young Life leader, these girls were freshmen. We have all been through so much together, and I love them so much. At their school, they have a senior presentation at Prom. Basically, its a chance for parents and grandparents (and me!) to be like paparazzi.

I love all the bright colors!

I noticed a few things from looking at these pictures. 1- I have totally masted the hand on hip pose. 2 - I have bad posture in pictures 3 - I could post a million pictures from Prom so I am trying to only a pick a few. I just love them :)

Catch up

Here it is, middle of April, and I feel like I have missed most of Spring. I felt like March was the longest month of my life. School was overwhelming and I just had a ton going on. Some would describe my March as, "when it rains, it pours." But now we are halfway through April, and it has flown by! I stayed locked in the library and coffee shops studying for comps, so now I am trying catch up on everything. Catching up on tv shows, blogs, other school work, and somewhat of my social life.

Adult Spring Break

I didn't actually get a Spring Break this year. I know most people don't get a spring break, but it makes me sad that I work in a school AND I am in grad school, and still don't get a spring break.

This is how I spent most of my spring break. Studying for comps, reading, and doing case notes. Bleh. Cant wait till graduation.
I did get to have some fun! I pretended this past week was my spring break since it was beautiful weather and I got to pull out my flip flops for the first time this year! We celebrated St. Patricks Day, which I learned is apparently more like Halloween in the sense that people really dress up.

I don't remember why we wanted our bracelets in the picture... ha.

They had a little photo booth and we had fun dressing up! Please notice the lucky charms!
