Chocolate Chip Pancakes

I was so happy to be able to visit my sweet friend Lindsey this weekend! We have been trying to plan a time to see each other, but school and sickness always got in the way! Finally, I made my way to Memphis to hang out with some of my favorite people!

One of my favorite things about going to Memphis to visit Lindsey is how hospitable she is! She is a fantastic hostess and I was filled with chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast and homemade asian chicken salad for lunch (Side note: why am I always talking about food?) I don't think Lindsey knows this, but my very favorite thing about going to visit her is just sitting on her couch and talking about life. We can do nothing at all and I still have the best time!

It was so fun to celebrate Lindsey's birthday and hang out with her sweet boys too! So thankful for her friendship :)

Brought to you by the letter B...

What a fun and unexpected visit with Amy and Kory and Kaitlin!! I was so thrilled they wanted to stop by and see me and their LONG drive back home. We had the best time at one of my favorite breakfast places, Bread and Co. It was a quick visit, but we laughed and had so much fun!

I really wanted to get a cute picture of Kaitlin and me, but I don't think that exists. But these are pretty funny!

We also got the privilege of seeing one of my favorite artists at Bread and Co. Brandon Heath was sitting right beside us. Yay celebrity sighting! Yay Amy and Kory and Kaitlin being in Nashville! Yay favorite breakfast!

Graduation!

There are no words to describe how happy I am about graduating! Grad school has been a tough three years for me. It has been really hard trying to balance work, school, and life so I am ready for it to get back to "normal."
Here are the best parents in the world! I don't think I would have made it through grad school without their support and encouragement!

No celebration is complete without a trip to the Melrose! Thankful for great friends in Nashville!

This is my friend Stephanie who also graduated from the counseling program with me! So happy to have made such a great friend in school.

We spent forever trying to get this hood thing to look normal. I don't have a clue how it goes but still so proud of it!! haha
Yay Graduation!! Yay no more school!! Yay for amazing friends and family!!

Transition

Transition - Passage from one form, state, style, or place to another.

So, I moved yet again. I wish I was joking, but this marks the sixth time I have moved since I moved to Nashville. We all know that moving is not fun. But, I am so thankful to have wonderful family here in Tennessee to take me in until I can figure out a plan for my life.

While I am living with my aunt and uncle, I put all my stuff in storage. It kinda made me sad to see all of my "things" in one little 10 x 10 storage unit.
It also made me a little sad to be in the process of moving and sleeping on an air mattress at my old apartment! haha
But now I am settled in my new, temporary living situation. Very thankful indeed.
