Crazy town

This weekend we had a lot of celebrating to do! Not only did we get to celebrate Katie's birthday, but we also got to celebrate her engagement!!!! If only this blog could portray how excited I was....

I got into town on Friday night just in time for Jason Alden/Eric Church concert with Jean! We had so much fun, had amazing seats, and it was an AWESOME concert. LOVED getting to spend some quality time with Jean. She is the best. And apparently, we loved taking pictures :)

After the concert, we went out to celebrate Katie's birthday. I loved this new place to go dancing in the Old City. I had so much fun with these girls!!

I know this is a lot of pictures, but I just love my friends. The rest of the weekend I spent with my sweet parents. We ate a Longs, walked at the mall, watched the UT game, and did my taxes. Pretty amazing weekend in Knoxville. My heart is full :)

Busy as a bee

What a crazy week it has been! I always say how much I like to be busy, but this week has been exhausting.

It started last weekend with some quality time with Jason.... I always have so much fun with Jason!

School took all my attention and energy for most of the week. Taught my first unit to high school students, had my first freshmen parents night, and started studying for my comps.

I also attended a benefit for Young Life and got to see my first home concert. It was so cool to be up close and personal with one of my favorite singer/songwriters Brandon Heath. I LOVED getting to hear stories about his life and his songs (Photo credits to Adrienne for being brave enough to take pictures in such a small space).

Thursday night we had a work event at the Predators game which are always so much fun! I love my job and co-workers and it was so nice to get to get to all have fun together at the game.
Such a busy and fun week with an even better weekend!

Funny Valentine

My friend Katie hosted a V-day B-day party this weekend. Sarah's birthday is on Valentines Day so it was a combined party to celebrate both events! They did such a great job of making it special. Everyone made cute Valentine mailboxes like we used to do in elementary school! And they had a station where you could make a homemade Valentine card! It was so cute!
On a totally other note, my dad thinks it's funny when people photo bomb pictures. I think that is the term for when people in the background ruin your picture. Well I had NO IDEA this was going on in the background of either of these pictures.

This one is not as obvious, but still a very good photo bomb on the left.

Colder than the North Pole

I love this chart that the news put up yesterday morning! This is actually after it had warmed up from 8 degrees. Brrrrr

I have this cute little fountain in my neighborhood and I love the ducks. They can walk on the water thanks to the frigid temperatures!

Seriously?

I don't know how this happened, but this really is getting out of hand. I somehow lost another hubcap! This makes 6. Six hubcaps that I have had to buy from my new favorite store Hubcap Annie.
This time when I went in to buy another hubcap, they told me that I bought their last one last month and they have to order more. Unbelievable.

Dip Party

Jason: "If you had an extra Super Bowl ticket, who would you take with you?"

Adrienne: "Trey"
Me: "My Dad"
Jason: "Justin Timerlake"

I love dips. I could eat a whole meal of just dip.... and that's just what we did for the Superbowl! We all made dips (Jason ranked them) and then we watched the game as we anxiously waited a new episode of Glee!! So glad it is FINALLY back!

By the way... my dip won!
